We, at “Tax on Point”, recently assisted a large corporate in completing their end of year responsibilities with the requirement to lodge Annual Statements with ASIC and their Income Tax return.  In working with the auditors, we completed the Tax Effect Accounting requirements for a group of entities, utilising the latest tax software.  On completion of the audit and the lodgement of those Financial Accounts, we then completed and lodged the corporate tax return by its due date.

During the year the client also added a number of new businesses to the current ones. Providing assistance, advice and service, the client was able to add those businesses into their group, involving acquisitions of assets and acquisitions of shares, requiring ACA calculations for entities to be added to their tax consolidated group.
